LRF was formed in 2003 and became constituted in June 2006, and is a registered charity. Its trustees come from the refugee community in Leeds and supporters. Our members and users are from over 30 different countries of origin.

Leeds Refugee Forum's Board of Trustees comprises of individuals elected by our members. The Trustees meet every six to eight weeks to administer the running of the organisation and the One Community Centre.
Leeds Refugee Forum is a forum of Refugee Community Organisations (RCOs) in Leeds.
Our RCO members include organisations representing over 30 community groups.
A refugee community organisation (RCO) is a community-led group of people who support refugees and asylum seekers. Depending on their size, activities and funding, they may organise cultural events, offer advocacy and support, develop language classes, support members with building skills such as IT or English, and host a range of other activities.
