Help Finance the Work of LRF

Leeds Refugee Forum helps asylum seekers and refugees in Leeds make friends, learn English and develop important life skills so they can thrive in their new home. Our organisation not only helps them to integrate into the society, and rebuild their lives here in the UK, but also provides full support in the process.

However, we are dependent on the generous donations of individuals and grants from organisations and government agencies.

Donate to the Hardship Fund

Each winter a group of voluntary organisations in Leeds operates a Hardship Fund to provide limited financial support to those in greatest need. The fund provides small subsistence donations to destitute asylum seekers who have no income at all (for a single person, £25 per week, usually for 4 weeks). This provides a vital lifeline to people in desperate situations and can mean the difference between a meal and nothing to eat.

The Hardship Fund is an essential service to ease the situation of people experiencing homelessness and destitution.
